I'm taking on a Marathon for my mum Ann and making a difference for people living with dementia!
I’m challenging myself to complete an Ultra Marathon to raise funds to support people with dementia.
Please help me reach my goal by making a donation. It only takes a minute and any amount you can give will go a long way to fund medical and social research and support the vital services, support groups and education programs that Dementia Australia provides to people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Day 29
Thursday 29th Sep Spending some time on the central coast with the kids for the holidays. Beautiful weather has allowed me to go for early morning walks by the beach, enjoying the sunshine and fresh sea air!It also allowed me to complete my ultra marathon to remember

Day 21
Wednesday 21st Sep Such a big month with lots of things happening but I’m still managing to get at least a 3km walk in most days.This month is Dementia awareness month and to understand this illness more I enrolled in and completed the Understanding Dementia MOOC course run by university of Tasmania. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to know more.
Day 3 Parkrun
Saturday 3rd Sep So today I decided to try something new and joined Parkrun Rooty Hill. I was very welcomed by the team there that included a familiar face.I was also able to spread a little awareness and share stories with others who have been affected by Dementia.
Such a fun, supportive experience.
Day 1
Thursday 1st Sep So today is the first day of the ultramarathon! I walked 3km today, I’m only recording the exercise I do that is additional to the walking I do at work.On the weekend I plan to do longer walking!
