Milestone moments in life have a way of reminding us how much we miss the special people who can't be there every step of the way. As I prepare to celebrate one of the most meaningful days, I’ve been thinking a lot about my Nonna and how much she would have cherished this season of life.
Growing up, Nonna and I would cook dinner together every Sunday. We'd talk about love, marriage, and the kind of future I hoped for. These moments shaped me deeply, and I know how much joy she would have found in being part of these celebrations.
Although she’s not able to share in this time the way she once would have, I carry her love and wisdom with me.
To honour the incredible impact she’s had on my life, and to support the many other families have also been touched by dementia, I'd truly appreciate your donation.
All funds raised will support the important work of Dementia Australia, helping to provide vital services like counselling, education, support groups and training for those living with dementia, their families and carers.
