I'm raising funds for people with FTD Dementia!

In October I'll be running the 80km Bondi to Manly Ultramarathon in honour of my dad, Matthew - a warm, generous and deeply thoughtful man who was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).

FTD is a heartbreaking disease that affects behaviour, personality and language. It often appears earlier than other forms of dementia and can be incredibly isolating - both for those living with it and the people who love them.

My dad has always been an incredible father - gentle, intelligent and full of quiet strength. He's someone who gave so much of himself to others, even when he wasn't fully understood. This run is for him, and all the families impacted by this devastating condition.

I am raising funds to support FTD research and awareness. If you're able to donate please do so. Every kilometre I run is with love and purpose for Dad.

The Bondi to Manly Ultra is an 80km urban ultra-marathon in Sydney, Australia, taking runners from Bondi Beach to Manly Beach. The course follows the Bondi to Manly walking track, showcasing Sydney's iconic landmarks, coastal scenery, and harbor views.

The run commences early Saturday the 25th October 2025. If you would like to see an map of the route scroll down to the image gallery below.
