I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

With the support of my family, friends I'm and amazing wife. I will be running the 1005km of the Bibbulmun Track from Albany to Perth in memory of Tony and Edna Reynolds. Along so many others loved ones that have left us way to soon, after long battles with Dementia, Aunts - Bridget, Olive, Maureen just to name a few and Aunt Roseanne and Uncle John and their families who are still having battling this cruel disease.

The Goal is to raise awareness and  funds for people with dementia!

But we need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

After the dispointment of having to stop with injury after 715km in 11 days on the Bib track. I've come up with a plan to finish the remaining 280 odd km in the next few weeks. Thanks for all the support to date and keep sharing this story to see what we can achieve for all those families living with Dementia.

With under 3 weeks left, its starting to get very real. Training is not perfect but hey thats ok.... I'll be ready

With just under 3 months left, training is getting tougher ever day. However I am feeling stronger and stronger, physically and mentally each day also.

Time just keeps moving on. In the last 2 years we've lost both these amazing people Tony and Edna to Dementia. While our hearths continue to break at our loses, other familes continue their fight with this disease.

Now a month after Tonys passing and a lot of thinking how can we honour Tony and Ednas fight. It seems a fitting time to announce, that I with the help and the support of my family, I will attempt to run the full 1005 kms of the Bibbulmun Track in September this year. 

This will be the biggest challenge we've ever undertaken and if I'm honest it scarces the shit out of me. However Its for a great cause, very close to not just our hearts but also many others out there. 

Please help spread the word, to raise awareness of Dementia.
