My target 60 kms

I'm taking on a Marathon to Remember in hope that we can somehow support everyone that is touched by dementia in some way or form.

Watching dementia take a hold of my much loved dad was heartbreaking.  With such a vibrant personality, slowly fading away.
This horrible disease has touched so many members of our family and friends.
I pray that one day a cure is found and no one will have to watch this debilitating disease unfold or have to suffer from it.

5 Days To Go

Tuesday 27th Sep
Many years ago a relative was found wheelchair bound with a young family and a mortgage.  My father rallied all his friends at the time and his community group and raised a substantial amount of money to help out this man and his family.
I remember thinking, wow! A man with determination had managed to help out a family in need.  My father wasn’t rich, wasn’t educated, but would go above and beyond to help others.
I know that he would be proud of the amount raised of all my cheerleaders.  It’s an honour to know you all❤️❤️❤️

Getting close now!!

Friday 23rd Sep
Although the kms are starting to add up, donations don’t close till end of September. If you haven’t already donated, there is still time. Every donation is appreciated. Big or small!!

Just a small one today!!!

Wednesday 21st Sep
So often sufferers and carers feel alone and misunderstood. Todays run was dedicated to those people. You are not alone.

$2000 RAISED

Wednesday 14th Sep
I started this marathon not knowing how I would go!!
To have raised this amount so far is beyond what I imagined.
You guys are the best cheerleaders EVER!!!

For all who have donated!!

Sunday 11th Sep
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.
Looks like I’m up for the 60KM challenge.
I better get a move on!!🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️
