Music in Nature 2026

I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

Music has always been a way for our family to connect with others.

As Min and Fei have grown as young musicians, they've discovered that some of the most meaningful performances aren't always on a concert stage. Over the years, they've shared their music in schools, aged care homes and community spaces around Tasmania. Playing for people living with dementia has shown them that a familiar melody can bring a smile, spark a memory or simply create a quiet moment of connection.

Over time, those experiences became Music in Nature.

Our hope is that Music in Nature will become an annual community concert where young musicians can share their music, bring people together and support causes that make a positive difference in our community.

Our very first concert will be held at Hobart Town Hall on Sunday 22 November 2026, supporting Dementia Australia and the important work they do for people living with dementia, their families and carers.
