Dementia became part of his journey in his later years, and while it brought its challenges, it never took away his warmth, his love for his family, or his unique sense of humour. Even towards the end, he continued to show us laughter, affection, and the strength of his spirit.
Supporting Dementia Australia is a meaningful way for us to honour his life and extend compassion to other families navigating this journey. Through research, advocacy, and continued progress in this space, we hope his memory contributes to a future where dementia is better understood, better supported, and one day, more effectively treated.
