I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

My name is Eddie Camplin and in the Christmas - New Year week 2022.

Myself and my close mate’s son, (Mathew Johns), will be Kayaking around Hindmarsh Island SA, this trip will take 3 days to complete and the distance travelled will be approx 36 K’s.

I am semi retired and fill my time and days, doing garden maintenance for people, I have 2 supportive Children & and are very proud to have 4 Grand kids.

Mathew is 37 years old and has a part time job assisting in setting up a hall for functions, (but of late, there hasn’t been much need for functions, due to Covid 19, hopefully this improves soon).

You see, this venture is very close to our hearts (as well as other close Family & Friends), as Peter has Dementia and has been residing in a Residential Care Facility for 12 months now. Peter and I think of each other more as Brothers than mates, we’ve been mates since High School (50 years). Peter is only 2 years younger than myself (I’m 65).

Peter has always been there for me as we were growing up, now it’s my turn to be there for him.

Please assist myself and Mathew in donating what you can towards this cause, so in the future it’ll be much easier for those suffering & their loved ones to cope and get on with this adjustment to life and love.

Whatever money raised, 100% will be going to Dementia Australia.

(All other expenses will be taken care of by myself).
