Northern Soul All nighter

I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

I am trying to let people know , that just because you are diagnosed with early onset Dementia , that life as you know it does not have end, despite being diagnosed with Dementia I have not let it dictate to me what I can and cannot do .

I am organising an event that involves a certain style of music and dance , ( northern Soul) . I regularly attend events held  interstate and overseas with the aid of friends and support workers too which I am grateful .

The music and dancing bring me so much joy , in a time when life can be difficult . ( such as forgetting how to use your bank card in an atm ).

A lot of the people I dance with at these events I attend do not even know I have dementia and this is information I have chosen not to share as when I am dancing g and singing to the music nobody knows or can tell

This event is happening in Melbourne and will run between the hours of 10.00pm and 7 .00 am ( it coincides with my sundowning ) and is by 

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
