100 Half-Marathons 100 days
I'm creating awareness and raising funds for people with dementia and assist scientists in delaying, preventing and ultimately finding a cure for the disease.
There are an estimated 472,000 Australians living with dementia and almost 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. We all know someone who is affected by dementia and people are dying way too young from the disease, my mother inclusive. Medically, alot can still be achieved in this space.
I need your help. Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal of $50,000 to assist in beating dementia.
All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training. Funds will also go towards research and development of prevention strategies.
