I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

Hi and welcome to my fundraiser page!

This year I'm raising funds for people with dementia by shaving my hair December 2nd 2023.

Dementia is a condition I have experienced personally with family members and in my career and something I am very passionate about. 

There is so much more we can do to help those experiencing dementia and researching the condition and a hopeful treatment is a big step in the right direction.

This year the fundraiser will help multiple good causes. The direct fundraiser is going straight to Dementia Australia research, the hair will make a wig for someone with leukemia and thanks to Sustainable Salons the hair cut that doesn't go towards the wig will make a hair boon to help absorb oil spills in the ocean!

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers including services such as counselling, support groups, education and training and vital research.
