100km Walk to Remember

Walk 100km in September

I've seen the harrowing effects dementia can have on a person and the people that they love.  They need so much support.  And I need your support to raise some money for Dementia Australia.

My personal connection to dementia is through my Mama and my Uncle, who were both diagnosed with early onset dementia.  My uncle is still with us, thankfully.  I have seen firsthand the effects that it has had on my family, the carers and decline of my uncle as he succumbs to the disease.

I propose to walk 100km across the month of September 2020.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
I would love you to join me, or make a donation, to help fight for this cause.
