I'm raising funds for people with dementia!
I'm raising funds for people with dementia by having my hair that's over 30cm being cut and donated to become a wig!
All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
I've been growing my hair since 2021 to a length of over 30cm, so I can now have it cut and donated to be made into a wig through Sustainable Salons.
The ponytail will be sent to wig-makers, where they can contribute to wigs for those suffering from alopecia areata, cancer or other medically-induced hair-loss conditions.
