Russell Wheel's for Dementia
Hi! We're Oliver (on the right) and Neil (on the left). This November we are going to be doing a lot of cycling this month to raise money to help people with dementia.
Why have we chosen this fundraiser to be the thing that we raise money for, well: as many of us have been, our family has been affected by dementia, my [Oli] Nana, Dad's [Neil] mum, suffers from it.
We had set a relatively low target at first, as it is our first time actively participating in a fundraiser. We quickly smashed that and are now aiming a bit higher! We continue to be very grateful for all of your support.
All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Hi Oli and Neil, Great effort for such a worthwhile cause. Let’s hope research will bring some good treatment alternatives and thus better support for individuals and their loved ones. Counselling is so important to understand what is going on and to assist all family members. Art therapy helps as well.
