In Memory of Maureen Rose Blood

In memory of Maureen Rose Blood, a very special lady, we all loved, and I was so very proud to call my mum.

Being on mum's journey was both heartbreaking and uplifting. I am blessed from high above to have travelled the long and windy path with my mumma.

She rose to every challenge, to every occasion, and everything I asked of her AND she put up with my singing to her every night of her last 10 months with me, hahahaha, I know she loved it really!

Now, still with me everyday in spirit, I do this walk for her and in her memory. I know she is walking with me every kilometer, as we used to do every day, Scruffy her dog completing our group.

I welcome anyone to join our team and help raise funds, while caring for your own health out walking, for such a worthy cause.

By joining, or donating, any amount you can give will go a long way to fund medical and social research and support the vital services, support groups and education programs that Dementia Australia provides to people living with dementia, their families and carers.
