5k a day for Dementia
Earlier this year, my mum was diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimer’s called Primary Progressive Aphasia. It’s been a challenging experience, but it has also motivated me to take action in a meaningful way.
Alzheimer’s affects millions of families, and Primary Progressive Aphasia gradually takes away the ability to communicate, making it especially tough for those living with it and their loved ones. While it’s difficult, it’s also inspired me to help raise awareness and contribute to the fight against dementia.
That’s why I’ve committed to running/walking 5km every day for the next month to raise money for Dementia Australia. Every step I take will help support vital services such as counselling, education, and support groups for those affected by dementia.
Together, we can make a real difference. Please consider donating and sharing this page to spread the word. Your support can provide hope and help to families impacted by dementia
