In memory of Lola Margaret Day

By Rhonda Vile

We are raising funds for Dementia Australia in memory of our loved one.

Thank you for donating to Dementia Australia in memory of our loved one, Lola Day.

Lola passed away in February 2024, at the age of 90.  She was diagnosed with Dementia in 2019 and spent her last 3.5 years in aged care.

Lola and her husband Norm had 7 children.  She was an active, outgoing and friendly woman who was full of life, energy and enthusiasm.  She took much pride in her children and their achievements, she had 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, whom she adored.  Lola loved adventures and to travel, music & singing, dancing, football, cooking, gardening and family history among many other things!

Dementia is a cruel disease which over the past few years took her away from all she loved, including recognition of her loved ones, enjoying activities she always did, and halting her active lifestyle.

All donations received in Lola's memory will support the work of Dementia Australia to make a significant difference for people living with dementia, their families and carers through vital support, services, education, training and research.

Thank you for your generosity.
