Make a world of difference this Christmas
Watch Phillissa talk about her family's experience with dementia
When Louis was in his mid-50s, he unfortunately lost his job due to the company closing. As the main breadwinner for his family, he tried to apply for a new job. It was harder than expected.
“Dad had to write down his name and address, just basic information, but he became very confused. Mum took Dad to the specialist, and they made him do two tests. One was to refold a piece of paper the same way it had been folded, and the second was to use a pen to draw a clock and put the hands on the clock. He failed both those tests.” Phillissa, Louis daughter.
