I’m taking on a Marathon to Remember and making a difference for people living with dementia!
I’m challenging myself to complete an Ultra Marathon to raise funds to support people with dementia.
This is a cause that is very close to my heart and my family. Over 6 years ago my father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. The past years with lockdown have been difficult to say the least, and now in the past year due to dads continued decline in health he has been moved into out of home care.
Alzheimer’s is a disease that isn’t just difficult on the person suffering from it. It’s also externally difficult and hard for those who are are living with them, caring for them and the family and friends who have to slowly watch someone they love be taken away.
Dementia Australia has been an amazing support to my family, and many others like mine. Please help me reach my goal by making a donation. It only takes a minute and any amount you can give will go a long way to fund medical and social research and support vital services, support groups and education programs that Dementia Australia provides to people living with dementia, their families and carers.
